Trump Unfollows Ann Coulter On Twitter After She Unloads On Him For Caving On Border Wall
President Donald Trump decided to stop following In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome! author and anti-immigration zealot Ann Coulter after the far-right provocateur went on a tear against him for walking back his demand to shut down the government if he did not receive $5 billion in funding for his desired border wall in the latest spending bill.

With the White House expressing openness to signing a stopgap spending bill that would not include any wall funding and would keep the government running until February — the Senate passed the bill on Wednesday evening — Coulter unleashed on Trump for failing on his biggest campaign promise. In a column on her website, Coulter — one of the president’s earliest and most passionate supporters — called Trump a “gutless president” who either “never intended to build the wall and was scamming voters all along, or he has no idea how to get it done and zero interest in finding out.”
And in an interview with the Daily Caller, she predicted that Trump’s “support will evaporate and Trump will very likely not finish the term and definitely not be elected to the second term.” Coulter further said that she will not vote for him in 2020 without the wall and that Trump will likely be the last Republican president, noting that he’ll “just have been a joke presidency who scammed the American people, amused the populists for a while, but he’ll have no legacy whatsoever.”
At the top of Fox News’ The Story with Martha MacCallum, Coulter’s remarks to the Daily Caller were cited during MacCallum’s interview with Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC). Roughly a half-hour later, the president had quit Coulter.
Adios, America!
Coulter wasn’t alone among the MAGA base when it came to lashing out at the president for breaking his promise on the wall, Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh complained that Trump “got less than nothing” with the spending bill compromise. Fox News’ Laura Ingraham cried that the wall would now just be “an open door.” And the House Freedom Caucus was beside itself.
