Lindsey Graham Defends Trump’s Removal of Vindman from White House Post
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Sunday said he has no issues with President Donald Trump’s decision to remove Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman from his National Security Council post.
“I think his reassignment was justified; I don’t think he could be effective at the NSC,” Graham told Margaret Brennan on Face the Nation, implying that he has a political agenda.

“People in his chain of command have been suspicious of him regarding his political point of view,” Graham claimed, despite National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien saying on the same program last week that he was confident that there were no leaks originating from the NSC.
“Well, I am not,” Graham responded, insisting that it is imperative to get to the bottom of Vindman’s supposed connection to the unidentified whistle-blower.
