Dana Loesch: Biden Wants a ‘Full List of Everyone in the United States and Everything That They Own’
Former spokesperson for the National Rifle Association Dana Loesch has told Fox News that former Vice President Joe Biden wants lists of everything U.S. citizens own. Speaking to Fox & Friends on Thursday, Loesch attacked Biden’s proposals for gun control.
Biden’s plan involves gun buybacks and a national firearms registry similar to National Firearms Act of 1934 (NFA). Loesch suggested anything like Biden’s proposals would probably lead to tyranny.
“What he’s talking about is ultimately a repeal of the Second Amendment,” Loesch sad. “He’s talking about going after all semiautomatic firearms. There is no such thing as an assault weapon. You either have something that is semiautomatic or you have something that’s select fire, full auto.”
“There’s a reason. These terms are incredibly important. This dictates what law comes into play. And it also is the difference between misdemeanors and felonies, too. It is very important these candidates, if they want to show they are passionate about the issue as they claim to be, do more than virtue signal, and demonstrate an understanding of the law you want us to abide by.”
“But he’s talking about making every single thing an NFA item? And making all magazines an NFA item? First off, you’re talking about having lawyers involved, and tax stamps, having to ask the government for permission, having a full list of everyone in the United States and everything that they own, what exactly they own…”
“And to be frank with you, I don’t really trust the Democrat party with people’s names on lists after what we saw [Julian] Castro do,” Loesch said, referring to the naming of President Donald Trump’s donors, who were already in the public domain.
“It’s ripe for intimidation. It is ripe for, quite frankly, suppression. Let’s look at history of this country and why we have the … why we have, and the root of, the second Amendment,” Loesch said.
