Tucker Carlson Whines About ‘Twitter Mob’ as New Audio Shows Him Calling Iraqis ‘Primitive Monkeys’
As Tucker Carlson opened his Monday night Fox News program by addressing the controversy over recently unearthed misogynistic remarks he made on shock jock Bubba the Love Sponge’s show between 2006 and 2011, left-wing media watchdog Media Matters for America released additional audio from Carlson’s radio appearances that showed the Fox News star making extremely racist and xenophobic comments
“First, Fox News is behind us as they have been since the very first day. Toughness is a rare quality in a TV network and we are grateful for that. Second, we’ve always apologized when we are wrong and will continue to do that. That’s what decent people do. They apologize. But we will never bow to the mob. Ever. No matter what.”
