Who’s Gonna Own The Libs Now? Dan Bongino Is Out At NRATV
Well, I guess someone will have more time for Hannity guest appearances going forward.
Per a report by The Daily Beast’s Lachlan Markay, right-wing talking head and three-time failed Congressional candidate Dan Bongino’s NRATV show We Stand is no more. Bongino had been a contributor to the National Rifle Association’s media outlet since 2017 and his show was launched early this year.
While Markay didn’t initially receive a comment from either the NRA or Bongino, the frequent Fox News guest removed the line “NRATV host” from his Twitter bio recently. He also tweeted on Monday that he would be addressing the matter on his podcast this week. In standard Bongino fashion, he first called the Daily Beast report “fake news” after it was published. Eventually, Bongino confirmed that the show was done, claiming that it was his decision and not the network’s, something that conflicted with at least one of Markay’s sources.
Last month, we here at Contemptor noticed during a Fox News appearance that Bongino was described as a “Former NRATV Contributor.”

With the NRA as a whole going through financial difficulties as they’ve seen a large drop in revenue as donations have slowed significantly, NRATV has undergone layoffs recently.
Bongino has been name-checked numerous times by the president on Twitter, including the all-important Trump book endorsement. He has quickly developed into one of the president’s favorite TV personalities due to his outspoken defense of Trump when it comes to the Russia probe. Even though Bongino appears on Fox on a near-daily basis, he is not a paid contributor for the network.
Early on in his tenure with NRATV, the former Secret Service agent infamously cut a promo that featured him tossing whole lemons in a blender to make lemonade, all while wearing a shirt that read “Socialist Tears.” And back in October, he announced on his program that his “life is all about owning the libs now,” stating that owning the libs is a lifestyle.
With Bongino gone from NRATV, who’s gonna own the libs moving forward?
