Tucker Praises Megyn Kelly For Calling Out Christine Ford: ‘That’s What Bravery Looks Like’
Fox News host Tucker Carlson tossed some kudos an ex-colleague’s way tonight as he applauded former Fox Newser Megyn Kelly for publicly saying that Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford needs to show up at a Senate hearing next week and testify.
Prior to speaking to frequent guest and Camp of the Saints mega-fan Mark Steyn, Carlson said that Democrats are trying to “dictate the terms of how Washington responds to” Dr. Blasey’s allegations, adding that they want to keep this going to further delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
“Megyn Kelly of NBC News called out that strategy in the clearest possible terms,” Tucker noted, playing a clip of Kelly on MSNBC’s Hardball.
During her appearance, Kelly said: “I think she needs to show up on Monday and offer her testimony if she wants to be heard because for better or for worse; she is not in charge of this — the Senate is in charge of this.”
According to the conservative commentator, those comments represented extreme courage on Kelly’s part.
“Imagine saying that on NBC News,” Carlson smirked. “That’s what bravery looks like.”
