Remember When Donald Trump Bashed Obama For Apparently Bowing To The Saudi King?
Thursday brought the release of new footage from President Donald Trump’s Singapore summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. In the news/propaganda clip from the Hermit Kingdom, the president is shown shaking hands with various North Korean officials. When he comes to North Korean General No Kwang Chol, the president is greeted with a salute and he responds by saluting back.

As you’d expect, the image of POTUS saluting an officer from a brutal dictatorship garnered quite a bit of reaction. Appearing on CNN this morning, retired Rear Admiral John Kirby called the moment” striking” and that the president played “right into the North’s propaganda” by tossing out the salute.
Of course, if you’ve been paying attention the past couple of years, you’ll know that there is Always A Tweet when it comes to Donald J. Trump. And, naturally, we find instances of Trump blasting Barack Obama for appearing to bow to the Saudi king and other world leaders.
.@BarackObama bowed to the Saudi King in public–yet the Dems are questioning @MittRomney's diplomatic skills.

And folks on Twitter didn’t forget Trump and other conservatives weighing in on the “controversy” over Obama’s bowing and deference.

1) Trump's not the commander-in-chief of the DPRK military, kid.
2) You people crapped your cages for YEARS over Obama returning a bow to the Japanese Emperor. I guess none of that matters since you're all raging hypocrites whose only core values are trolling and disruption. https://t.co/TH67gMHoFm— Bob Cesca (@bobcesca_go) June 14, 2018
Remember the "OMG DID OBAMA BOW!?" controversy? Yeah. How about saluting North Korean generals. Holy cow. https://t.co/m4cDgftWsU

Sorry guys, this one is worse than the Obama bow. https://t.co/owiZ0xuqsk

Don't get me started on how "bowing" Obama was made to be a thing. The issue isn't the confusion of protocol. It's that only one becomes a "scandal." https://t.co/PJejZWIBRR

I never want to hear about kneeling football players and Obama’s bow, ever again. https://t.co/mcmBbE2wEK

Again, this is real life.
