Up Late With Contemptor: ‘Midlife Crisis’ By Faith No More

Song: Midlife Crisis

Written by: Mike Bordin, Roddy Bottum, Bill Gould, Mike Patton (Music) Mike Patton (Lyrics)

Performed by: Faith No More

Released: 1992

Chart Positions: #1 US Modern Rock Tracks, #32 US Mainstream Rock Tracks

Fun Little Tidbit: The working title of the song was ‘Madonna’ as singer Mike Patton felt like he was bombarded with images of her wherever he went. He felt she was a bit desperate at the time, going through some sort of problem, thus the song being about dwelling on and inventing emotions.
