Trump’s Son Says Only Citizens Who Watch Crappy Benghazi Movie Should Be Allowed To Vote
For those who dismiss warnings from political observers that a Trump presidency would quickly devolve into fascism, claiming this is nothing but hyperbolic fear-mongering, really should watch Thursday’s Fox News interview with Trump scion Eric.
Appearing on America’s Newsroom, Eric Trump, who looks like a composite of every villain from 1980’s teen movies, spent much of his time being led by the nose by host Martha McCallum in dismissing fraud claims against his daddy’s fake university. However, at one point, he decided to go after Hillary Clinton, and in doing so, revealed just how authoritarian his pop’s regime would be.
Bringing up the shitty, inaccurate, propagandist Michael Bay Benghazi movie ’13 Days,’ Eric claimed that not only does it show how fucking awful Crooked Hillary was in terms of leaving our boys to die in Libya, but that it should be required viewing in order to vote in November.
“I see that little clip, and I literally cringe. Her foreign policy has literally cost this country trillions of dollars, thousands of lives,” Trump said on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom.”

Eric Trump and his wife, Lara, apparently spent part of the Memorial Day weekend watching the Benghazi flick, which Trump’s son said made him “literally livid.”
“I think in order to vote in this next election, you should have to watch that movie. I was livid,” Trump said. “She left these guys on a rooftop in the middle of Benghazi getting shot at, having mortars drop on their head because she wouldn’t pick up a phone call in the middle of the night.”
One, someone needs to punch him in the face for using the word ‘literally’ three times in the space of ten seconds. Obviously, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree regarding limited vocabulary.
But, even if Eric Trump is just exaggerating for effect here, it shows just how dismissive the Trump clan is when it comes to the basic notion of democracy. In their opinion, it just gets in the way of what they want. Trump sees himself as a classic demagogic strongman, and he needs to break down the institutions that stand in his way of complete power. And it certainly helps if you have propaganda peddlers helping you every step of the way.
Beyond all that, the fact is that ’13 Hours’ pushes an already debunked narrative — the so-called ‘stand down’ order. It was already pointed out when the film was released back in January, and even Republicans have given up on the made-up conspiracy theory since then. (Isn’t that right, Trey Gowdy?) Of course, that doesn’t mean shit in Trumplandia, where truth goes to die.
