Rudy Giuliani: John Bolton Is A ‘Classic Backstabber’ and ‘Swamp Character’
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani has blasted former National Security Adviser John Bolton. In an interview with CBS News, Giuliani disputed Bolton’s claim that President Donald Trump had linked Ukraine aid to investigations of former Vice President Joe Biden.
“He never said to me, ‘I’ve got a problem with what you are doing in Ukraine.’ Never once, never winked, never sent me a little note,” Giuliani told CBS News’ Catherine Herridge.
“That’s classic backstabber. So I feel I got a swamp character here. I find his testimony about the President pretty close to incredible.”
Giuliani also responded to reports that Bolton had called him a ‘hand grenade that was going to blow everyone up.’
“If he came up to me and said, ‘Rudy, you’re a grenade that’ll blow up,’ and he shows his face, I would say, ‘I would never have the opportunity, ’cause you’re an atomic bomb,'” Giuliani said.
He also denied he had discussed Ukrainian aid with Trump while he was trying to dig up dirt on Biden and his son, Hunter.
“Never ever discussed military aid with the president, with regard to Ukraine.”
Giuliani said he could still be called as a witness in the ongoing impeachment trial and he was willing to testify.
