Trump Calls Black Lives Matter Mural in New York ‘Symbol of Hate’
President Donald Trump has called a mural saying Black Lives Matter a symbol of hate after New York Mayor Bill de Blasio revealed plans to paint it on the city’s Fifth Avenue. De Blasio’s move is similar to a mural created in Washington, D.C.
“NYC is cutting Police $’s by ONE BILLION DOLLARS, and yet the [Mayor]is going to paint a big, expensive, yellow Black Lives Matter sign on Fifth Avenue, denigrating this luxury Avenue,” Trump tweeted.

“This will further antagonize New York’s Finest, who LOVE New York & vividly remember the horrible BLM chant, “Pigs In A Blanket, Fry ‘Em Like Bacon,'” he said.
….horrible BLM chant, “Pigs In A Blanket, Fry ‘Em Like Bacon”. Maybe our GREAT Police, who have been neutralized and scorned by a mayor who hates & disrespects them, won’t let this symbol of hate be affixed to New York’s greatest street. Spend this money fighting crime instead!

The mural will be painted near Trump Tower, which is likely one reason why the President is sounding off about it on Twitter.
