Trump Urges Congress to Subpoena Barack Obama: ‘He Knew EVERYTHING’
President Donald Trump has urged Republicans in the House and Senate to bring former President Barack Obama to the Hill so he can testify on the ‘Obamagate’ conspiracy theory. Trump and his allies have been pushing the issue hard for days.
“If I were a Senator or Congressman, the first person I would call to testify about the biggest political crime and scandal in the history of the USA, by FAR, is former President Obama,” Trump tweeted on Thursday.
“He knew EVERYTHING,” the President said, referring to the false claims that Obama’s administration somehow conspired against Trump in early 2017.
If I were a Senator or Congressman, the first person I would call to testify about the biggest political crime and scandal in the history of the USA, by FAR, is former President Obama. He knew EVERYTHING. Do it @LindseyGrahamSC, just do it. No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more talk!

“Do it [Lindsey Graham] just do it,” Trump went on. Graham is chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee and a Trump loyalist, who may be find himself in a difficult position if the President continues to push him on this issue.
“No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more talk!”
Trump and his allies in the GOP and the media have struggled to explain exactly what Obama did that amounts to conspiracy or crime. Rather, the focus on ‘Obamagate’ and unmasking Michael Flynn appears to be a distraction form the administration’s poor handling of Coronavirus.
