Iowa Andrew Yang Supporters Tell Fox News: ‘There’s Gonna Be A Shock Tonight’
Supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang told Fox & Friends’ Pete Hegseth on Monday that their candidate could pull off an upset and win tonight’s caucuses. Hegseth spoke to Iowa caucus goers Scott, Larry and Seth about his chances.
Scott identified himself as a caucus captain who will take part in the crucial Democratic votes at this stage of the contest, while all three agreed Yang had a real chance to win.
“I think Andrew has been able to explain that the prosperity to America should be going to all of us, that all of us should be seen as shareholders of the wealth and success of America and so by making sure that everyone, all of our Big Tech companies that should be paying more into the system, that they should be paying their fair share, that all of us should benefit from that and when everybody has an economic foundation to build from, that’s when you get a stronger, better America that can build into the future,” Larry said.
“Do you guys think Andrew Yang’s gonna win tonight? The polls don’t say that he will but you have a sense, you feel confident?” Hegseth asked.
“We had story about this four years ago where the polls didn’t say that a particular gentleman who’s now in the White House wasn’t gonna do that well either,”Larry said.
“I think there’s gonna be a shock tonight in Iowa, there’s gonna be a shock in the media and mainstream and there’ll be a shock come November.”
