Biden Releases Campaign Ad Showing World Leaders Laughing at Trump
Former Vice President Joe Biden has released a new campaign ad featuring the recent hot mic moment when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared to mock President Donald Trump. The ad features other footage of people laughing at Trump or talking about him being mocked.
“The world is laughing at President Trump. They see him for what he really is: dangerously incompetent and incapable of world leadership,” Biden said in a tweet.
“We cannot give him four more years as commander in chief,” he said.

The ad won instant praise on social media and created hope that Biden can run a tough campaign against Trump if he wins the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020. Biden is still considered the front runner by most estimates in what is a narrowing field.
Biden argues that if Trump is re-elected in 2020, the United States’ standing in the world will decline further. It makes the case for him as a credible alternative and pushes his previous experience in the Obama administration.
No matter who you’re supporting, props to the @JoeBiden team for making us go “omg maybe we could have a real President again one day!” https://t.co/XEUbysscug

The first votes in the Democratic race will be cast at the Iowa caucuses in February and Biden is hoping for a top three finish that will give him momentum going into New Hampshire and Super Tuesday. He still faces stiff competition from Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, as well as an insurgent campaign from Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
