Trump Claims Ukrainian President Just Said He ‘Has Done Nothing Wrong’ to Ukraine. He Didn’t
President Donald Trump has claimed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Trump did nothing wrong in Ukraine. However, not only did Zelenksy not say this, but said something approaching the exact opposite. Trump made the remark on Twitter.
“Breaking News: The President of Ukraine has just again announced that President Trump has done nothing wrong with respect to Ukraine and our interactions or calls,” Trump wrote.

However, Trump is referring to a recent interview where Zelenksy said nothing of the sort. Instead, Zelensky appeared to criticize Trump.
“We’re at war,” Zelenksy said. “If you’re our strategic partner, then you can’t go blocking anything for us. I think that’s just about fairness.”
Zelensky, in this interview, doesn't say anything like this.

Trump has been accused of seeking a quid pro quo in exchange for desperately need military aid to Ukraine.
