Kellyanne Conway on Fox News: ‘Very Rattled’ Lisa Page ‘Feels Really Sorry for Herself’
A day after former FBI lawyer Lisa Page broke her public silence in an exclusive interview with The Daily Beast, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway appeared on Fox News and took some pointed and personal potshots at the ex-official who has become a favorite target of President Trump’s.
“I actually think that she feels really sorry for herself and that if she were a career lawyer at the FBI and DOJ, she could have stayed on that job,” Conway continued. “Nobody here removed her. She quit voluntarily.”
At the end of the interview, Conway would get in one final shot at Page, portraying herself as a stronger woman than the former FBI official.
