Trump Mocked For Posting Photo of Himself as Rocky Balboa
President Donald Trump has been widely mocked online for posting a photoshopped image of himself as the fictional boxer Rocky Balboa. Trump tweeted the image without comment. It was not a retweet and it is not yet clear where he found the picture.

The photo is from the movie Rocky III, where Sylvester Stallone plays the eponymous boxer and Mr. T. plays his opponent, Clubber Lang. Twitter users were quick to mock the President and joke that the image may have been doctored. Some simply published photos of what Trump really looks like.

Some questioned Trump’s fitness, contrasting it with Stallone’s physique in the movie, while others saw something more serious in his tweet.

Donald Trump is the epitome of toxic masculinity. All this posturing, all this bullying, all the authoritarianism and embracing of dictators and war criminals is an attempt to hide a really deep and really pathetic insecurity.
It’s just…so unbelievably sad. pic.twitter.com/M3ITJwCJwc

The image Trump tweeted is not from the Rocky movie where Stallone’s character defeats a Russian, but some social media users couldn’t help but make the comparison anyway.
This is all wrong.
Rocky defeated Russia, while Trump continues to hand them victories.

Trump has tweeted flattering memes of himself before but this one seems to have come out of the blue. There was no source of the image or even a word from the President explaining it.
