Joe Biden to Trump: ‘Release Your Tax Returns or Shut Up!’

Former Vice President Joe Biden returned fire at President Donald Trump on Wednesday, calling on the president to finally release his tax returns or “shut up” when it comes to accusing the Biden family of corruption in Ukraine and elsewhere.

“Look — Mr. President, you want to talk about corruption?” Biden exclaimed to reporters on Wednesday. “I have released 21 years of my tax returns.”

He continued: “I entered as one of the poorest men in Congress, left one of the poorest men in government and Congress and as vice president. I made no money while he was in there, other than my salary.”

After noting that even former President Richard Nixon released his tax returns while under fire during the Watergate scandal, the former veep gave his ultimatum to Trump.

“Mr. President, release your tax returns or shut up!”
