In Typo-Ridden Tweet, Trump Calls His Supporters The ‘Smartest’ In America’s History
Look, we’re used to President Donald Trump sending out a typo-filled tweet. It is kind of his thing. In fact, aides have claimed they purposely toss bad grammar and poor syntax into proposed tweets to mimic the president’s style and appeal to MAGA Nation.
This morning, we saw yet another error-laden tweet. But in this instance, Trump used that tweet to brag about how smart he and his supporters are.
My supporters are the smartest, strongest, most hard working and most loyal that we have seen in our countries history. It is a beautiful thing to watch as we win elections and gather support from all over the country. As we get stronger, so does our country. Best numbers ever!

“My supporters are the smartest, strongest, most hard working and most loyal that we have seen in our countries history,” Trump wrote, obviously meaning “country’s history” when describing how historically strong and smart Trump voters are.
The president went on to say how it was a “beautiful thing” to see how much support Republicans are gathering as they win elections and that they are witnessing the “[b]est numbers ever!”
While the president’s approval numbers had ticked up a bit somewhat recently, it appears that they’ve plateaued as HuffPost Pollster has his average job approval rating at 43 percent. FiveThirtyEight, meanwhile, has found that the president’s approval numbers have dropped in every single state since his inauguration. On top of that, Democrats have overwhelmingly won special elections since Trump has taken office while Republicans have lost broad support.
