After Cutting Family Out Of Father’s Will, Trump Revoked Medical Care For Nephew’s Sick Baby
In Saturday’s edition of the New York Times, an article by Jason Horowitz detailed the somewhat complex and troubled relationship between current GOP Presidential frontrunner Donald Trump and his older brother Freddy, who died in 1981 at the age of 43 after battling alcoholism. The story was likely meant to humanize the fascistic real estate mogul by giving insight into his family’s past, it served to prove once again that Donald J. Trump is a horrible human being.
Following Horowitz’s coverage of Freddy Trump’s troubles and his tense relationship with younger sibling Donald and father Fred Sr., revealing Freddy’s issues with the bottle and his disdain for the family business, the NYT writer brought up just how vindictive and greedy The Donald really can be. After the family patriarch passed away in 1999, Freddy’s son, Fred III, spoke at the funeral. Later that evening, his wife went into labor and gave birth to a son who ended up developing cerebral palsy after suffering seizures.
The family, including Donald, promised to cover the infant’s medical bills going forward. Later on, the reading of Fred Sr.’s will occurred, and it was revealed that Freddy’s family had been completely cut out of a piece of at least $20 million. Apparently, the White House hopeful had his lawyers come in and revise the will while his father was still alive, despite the fact that he was suffering from dementia at the time. Freddy’s children weren’t happy at all, as you’d imagine, and decided to sue Donald and his other siblings for excluding them from their share.
Well, Donald being Donald, he reacted in the only way he knew how — by being a inhuman, self-centered, disgusting asshole. Since Fred III was suing him, Donald Trump decided to revoke all medical benefits promised to his nephew’s infant son. (Y’know, the newborn one with cerebral palsy who was fighting to live.) According to Horowitz, Trump did this because he was angry they sued.
Per the celebrity billionaire, the whole thing has been settled “very amicably” and the only reason Freddy’s children were cut out of their rightful inheritance was because Donald knew that his father had a “tremendous dislike” for Freddy’s ex-wife. Yes, that is the excuse Donald Trump gave the Times for playing with a sick baby’s life.
Remember, this is the guy Republicans most want to be President of the United States.
Wealthy families are famous for rewriting patriarch and matriarch wills at the end of their lives when they’re suffering dementia to exclude family they dislike. Ask the Duponts (their battle over exclusion of adopted children went to court too).
This man has actually done a lot of good for so many people, buying deeds to their homes as gifts etc. I find this hard to believe and truthfully it depends on who told you the story in order to write it. There is defenity more to it. Thanks for sharing and yes, I will still vote Trump.
