Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson Is Here To Defend The Toothless From Villainous Rick Wilson
If there’s one person who truly understands and empathizes with the impoverished of Middle America, it is DC denizen, frozen-food fortune heir, and forever cable news host Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson.
During Friday night’s broadcast of his primetime Fox News program, our working class hero came to the defense of hapless Trump supporters after #NeverTrump pundit and Republican strategist Rick Wilson said Thursday evening that the president had conned his “credulous rube ten-toothed base” with promises of a border wall.
Calling Wilson a “semi-obscure consultant who’s held just enough low-level political jobs that cable television producers can bill him as a Republican strategist,” Tucker added that Wilson was aping the left because he had gone from “hating Trump to hate people who voted for Trump.”
“What a cruel and awful thing to say,” an obviously sincerely concerned Carlson said after playing Wilson’s remarks. “Does it ever occur to Rick Wilson that people who are losing their teeth might benefit from cheaper dental care? Maybe Washington could help with that. But no, it’s easier to make fun of them and get rich doing it, something that Wilson specializes in.”
One would wonder how Wilson gets rich off making fun of rubes if he is “semi-obscure” and has only held “low-level political jobs,” but whatever. All we need to know is that the former CNN and MSNBC and Fox & Friends host, who recently inked a two-book/eight-figure deal, is here to defend the honor of toothless Trump voters everywhere.
Meanwhile, Wilson was ready for Friday night’s hit piece. Prior to Tucker’s broadcast, Wilson took to Twitter to announce that it was coming as one of Carlson’s producers had reached out to him earlier.
1/ So it looks like Tucker Carlson may be doing a segment targeting me this evening.

He also posted the email he sent to Tucker’s show in response.
2/ Producer reached out. Usual tendentious question format. Ten-toothgate, natch.

Needless to say, Wilson had something to say after the segment ran. He responded to others’ tweets while noting that Carlson didn’t run his response.

Of course, @TuckerCarlson didn't run my response to their little hit piece: pic.twitter.com/L7sp4h1LsW

And he added a Simpsons GIF for good measure:

He shouldn’t have said that probably but really, Tucker Carlson, brows furrowed over cheaper dental care for the masses? That’s really rich. It’s the GOP that fights tooth and claw to keep things like that from happening. No puns intended.
