Don Lemon Fires Back At Trump For Calling Him And LeBron Stupid: ‘Who’s The Real Dummy?’
Late Friday night, President Donald Trump was in the midst of a tweeting binge when he decided it was a great idea to send out a tweet mocking the most popular sports star alive while calling him and another famous black man stupid.
Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!

“Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon,” Trump tweeted, referencing James’ interview with the CNN anchor. “He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!”
The tweet immediately set off a firestorm of outrage as many saw the president’s comments as racist, especially considering that he has a history of attacking the intelligence of African-Americans. (“Low IQ Maxine Waters,” for instance.)
While Lemon didn’t respond in real time during his broadcast Friday night — the tweet was sent out towards the end of his live program — he did take to Twitter Saturday morning to fire back. And he took the president’s words and sent them right back, all while sarcastically referencing First Lady Melania Trump’s anti-cyberbullying initiative.
Who’s the real dummy? A man who puts kids in classrooms or one who puts kids in cages? #BeBest https://t.co/XO50qVksnR

“Who’s the real dummy?” Lemon tweeted. “A man who puts kids in classrooms or one who puts kids in cages? #BeBest”
As you can see in the tweet above, Lemon also included a link to a CNN video on James recently opening a new public school for at-risk children in Akron, OH. Besides offering longer school days, more individual focus and meal programs for the kids, the project will also include GED courses and job placement for parents.
