Trump Gives His “Warmest Regards” And “Best Wishes” To Victims Of New York Blast
Throughout the course of his campaign, GOP nominee Donald Trump has come under fire for his terrible and narcissistic responses to tragedies. On multiple occasions, especially in the case of terror acts, Trump’s first instinct was to take credit for foreseeing an attack while simultaneously using it to court voters. We saw this recently with a Chicago shooting that took the life of Dwyane Wade’s cousin, and in the past with the Orlando shooting, San Bernardino killings and Paris terror attack.
Saturday night provided another opportunity for Trump to fearmonger and opportunistically use a potential terrorist act to his advantage. Hours after a pipe bomb went off in New Jersey that led to no injuries, an intentional explosion occurred in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. The blast was set off in a dumpster near a church and ended up shattering windows and leading to multiple injuries, but thankfully, no fatalities. At the time, there is no motive and no idea if this is a terrorist act, Islamic or otherwise.
Shortly after the NYC explosion occurred, Trump appeared at a rally and discussed it, despite there being scant facts at the time. Of course, he made it appear that this was absolutely the work of RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORISTS.
“I must tell you that just before I got off the plane, a bomb went off in New York and nobody knows exactly what’s going on. But, boy, we are really in a time – we better get very tough, folks. It’s a terrible thing that’s going on in our world and in our country and we are going to get tough and smart and vigilant. We’ll see what it is.”
Sunday morning, perhaps remembering the push back he got with his initial tweets on previous incidents, Trump made sure to offer condolences first before making it all about himself.
I would like to express my warmest regards, best wishes and condolences to all of the families and victims of the horrible bombing in NYC.

Ummm, what??? “Warmest regards” and “best wishes”? Does Trump think the Chelsea explosion was a wedding or birthday? Who the hell speaks like this?
Trump does, that’s who. This is a guy who once sent out a tweet on 9/11 that said, “I would like to extend my best wishes to all, even the haters and losers, on this special date, September 11th.” Because, as we all know, 9/11 is a day we celebrate, even with the “haters and losers” of the world.
Reminder: This guy is currently tied with Hillary Clinton in national polls 50 days out from Election Day.
