Bill Maher: Hillary Won But Donald Trump Has More Supporters In Moscow
Bill Maher spent months mocking Donald Trump and warning about his fascist tendencies and now Trump has won the presidential election, Maher is surprisingly upbeat. On Real Time last night, Maher talked about Trump’s victory and also highlighted some positive election day results.
“Can you imagine someone who has been in a coma for the last two years just waking up?” Maher said. “Hey man, remember the guy from The Celebrity Apprentice? Yeah, he’s the president now. And the Cake Boss is Pope and Bill Cosby’s the drug czar.”
Maher discussed how Republicans also won the House and Senate, meaning they will be able to make appointments to the Supreme Court and will likely be able to implement their entire agenda. “They’re gonna get rid of Obamacare, probably get rid of Roe v. Wade, so, you know what, enjoy your victory, Trump voters” Maher said. “When you’re dying because you don’t have health insurance to treat the infection you got from a back alley abortion you had to get ’cause of fetal lead poisoning, you can say to yourself ‘At least I didn’t vote for someone with a private email server.'”
“One other little detail about the election,” Maher said. “Hillary won. She won the popular vote, probably by a million and a half. It just happened that there are more Trump supporters in places where it counted – like Moscow.”
