Hillary Clinton Wants To Know Why She Isn’t 50 Points Ahead Of Trump
Hillary Clinton went on the offensive today and urged her supporters to expose Donald Trump’s record and the stark choice facing the country. Clinton currently holds a narrow lead in national polls, though projections give her a relatively comfortable win in the electoral college. The campaign is not taking anything for granted, however.
“Why aren’t I 50 points ahead, you might ask?” Clinton said. “Well, the choice for working families has never been clearer. I need your help to get Donald Trump’s record out to everybody. Nobody should be fooled.” This is yet another attack on Donald Trump from the candidate herself, who has previously allowed campaign surrogates to criticize her opponent.
“He proudly declared himself 100 percent ‘right to work’,” Clinton said. “And he even hired a union-busting firm to break up an organizing campaign at his hotel in Las Vegas.” Clinton was referring to controversial ‘right to work’ legislation, which is widely regarded as anti-union.
“He built up his wealth by stiffing small business and contractors. That goes against everything we stand for as a country.” Clinton also said she was glad her father never did business with Trump.
