Trump Praises Parody Account Linked to Bizarre Conspiracy Theory
President Donald Trump praised a parody Twitter account on Wednesday that appears to promote a bizarre conspiracy theory about former U.S. Attorney for the District of Utah, John Huber. Huber was tasked by former AG Jeff Sessions with investigating FBI surveillance of Carter Page and any connections between the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One.
Trump praised an account called ‘Undercover Huber’ and linked the account, while attacking the real Huber.
“Undercover Huber is a great spoof, funny, but at the same time sad, because the real [John Huber]did absolutely NOTHING,” Trump said.
Undercover Huber is a great spoof, funny, but at the same time sad, because the real @JohnWHuber did absolutely NOTHING. He was a garbage disposal unit for important documents & then, tap, tap, tap, just drag it along & run out of time. A.G. Jeff Sessions was played like a drum!

“He was a garbage disposal unit for important documents & then, tap, tap, tap, just drag it along & run out of time. A.G. Jeff Sessions was played like a drum!”
This may come as a shock to some of the President’s followers who believe in the QAnon conspiracy theory. Huber has reportedly become a central figure in the conspiracy, with many believers thinking he’ll crack the case about the so-called ‘Deep State.’
The Undercover Huber account has also been approvingly cited by conservative and Trump defender Byron York in connection to the Michael Flynn case. The account is also linked to the unfounded ‘Russiagate’ conspiracy.
