Trump Complains That Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh Haven’t Won the Pulitzer Prize
President Donald Trump covered a range of topics during a brief press conference at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Wednesday. At one point, the President waxed lyrical about the state of journalism in the United States and complained that two of his favorite media figures hadn’t yet won the prestigious Pulitzer Prize.
“People got Pulitzer Prizes for their coverage of me and it turned out they were totally wrong,” Trump said.
“Other people – Sean Hannity, Rushbo – lot of great people, lot of great writers, they got it right. They didn’t get Pulitzer Prizes but they got it right.”

“The Russian hoax was a terrible thing, the dossier was a phony deal paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC and used in the FISA courts totally illegally,” Trump said, repeating inaccuracies he’s expressed before.
Fox News’ Sean Hannity has been a staunch defender of Trump’s, while Limbaugh has used his radio show to bolster the President. ‘Rushbo’ is apparently a nickname that Limbaugh’s fans use for him.
The Pulitzer Prize is awarded for achievements in journalism and is unlikely to go to those who knowingly spread false information, a tactic Hannity and Limbaugh have based their careers on.
