Fox’s Dr. Michael Baden: Jeffrey Epstein’s Death Was ‘Very Convenient’ for ‘A Lot of People’
Dr. Michael Baden, Fox News’ favorite medical expert, speculated yet again on Friday about Jeffrey Epstein’s death. While the exact circumstances surrounding the wealthy pedophile’s death have been cause for much discussion, Baden has made something of a career move out of it.
The forensic pathologist, whose credentials have seriously been called into question over the course of his Epstein commentary, returned to the topic again on Fox & Friends. Fox News has repeatedly indulged his theories.
“When you look at the facts, you know, people looking in. You’re a scientist. You wouldn’t say it but a lot of people say look, he was whacked,” Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy said.
“I think that’s one of the issues that has to be addressed. It was a very convenient death for a lot of people and a lot of things went wrong that could have permitted a homicide,” Baden said.
Baden went on to complain about the investigation into Epstein’s death.
“I think this is a poor way to investigate any death case. You can’t close it out. Within five days the case was closed out by the medical examiner’s office,” he said.
Though Baden has achieved minor celebrity status, he has frequently been on the wrong side of expert medical opinion and Fox News’ decision to continue to give him a platform has concerned other prominent experts.
