CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Reassures Viewers: ‘We Are Not The Enemy Of The American People’
While we’ve all largely become numb to President Trump’s constant hyperbolic attacks on “Fake News” CNN, today’s tweet calling CNN and NBC America’s “biggest enemy” raised quite a few eyebrows, no doubt due to Trump framing it within the context of North Korea.
So funny to watch the Fake News, especially NBC and CNN. They are fighting hard to downplay the deal with North Korea. 500 days ago they would have “begged” for this deal-looked like war would break out. Our Country’s biggest enemy is the Fake News so easily promulgated by fools!

Trump’s labeling of the mainstream press as the country’s greatest threat led CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer to deem it necessary to reassure his viewers that the media wasn’t coming for them.
After Blitzer brought up the president’s comments, CNN political analyst David Gregory said that one of the things that bother him the most about Trump is he can’t take him seriously, adding that he doesn’t believe Trump is being serious when he says these things. New York Times reporter Julie Davis followed that up by stating that a “lot of people do take it seriously, and it’s having an impact.”
“A lot of his supporters believe that we are the enemy of the American people,” Blitzer noted. “And that is really an awful situation. We are not the enemy of the American people. We love the American people.”
Blitzer’s remarks come on the heels of CNN senior media correspondent Brian Stelter calling Trump’s tweet “absolutely disgusting.”
