Fox’s Pete Hegseth Criticizes Biden for Meeting Jacob Blake’s ‘Very Controversial Father’
Fox News’ Pete Hegseth criticized former Vice President Joe Biden on Friday for meeting Jacob Blake Sr., the father of Jacob Blake, who remains in hospital after being shot seven times by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Hegseth made the remarks on Fox & Friends.
Hegseth was responding to a report from Griff Jenkins and tried to compare President Donald Trump’s approach to Kenosha favorably to Biden’s.
“If you want to see the contrast it’s right there on full display. Donald Trump in a hangar or when he went to Kenosha meeting with law enforcement ,meeting with the businesses there that have been impacted directly radicalism not called out by Joe Biden and riots that Democrat mayors and governors have been unwilling to take on.”
“And then you contrast that with Joe Biden wearing a mask while also socially distancing and effectively spent time talking to, and if you watch Tucker [Carlson]’s program last night, a very controversial father of Jacob Blake who’s got a history of a great deal of radicalism.”
“So it comes down to the radicalism coming from the left, the rioting that’s happening and who would actually do something about it. And I think that is the contrast and the message.”
Biden met privately with Blake and his family this week and no read-out of the conversation was made available to the press.
