Fox’s Brian Kilmeade: Joe Biden Should ‘Stand Up to Those Liberal Mayors’
Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade criticized former Vice President Joe Biden for what he characterized as indecision on the issues of protests in major cities. The Fox & Friends host said Biden hadn’t gone far enough in supporting law enforcement.
Co-host Steve Doocy explained that the presumptive Democratic nominee clearly opposed any violence associated with recent protests.
“And Joe Biden did call for the arrest of violent protesters,” Doocy said. “He said they should be arrested. Found, arrested, and tried. So, at least, you know, he does not want Donald Trump to be able to say, look, I’m the only person for law and order in the United States running for president. Joe Biden said if somebody does something violent at the protest. They should be arrested.”
“Yeah. The key is he says normal everyday policemen can do it,” Kilmeade said. “Really? The ones who’ve dispirited and defunded and told you can’t use crowd control methods?”
“Either you stand up to those liberal mayors and say you are wrong or … you stand with the President of the United States. He’s trying be to go in between and the cops know the difference.”
