Fox’s Brian Kilmeade: A President Shouldn’t ‘Bring the Country Way to the Left or Way to the Right’
Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade argued on Tuesday that the President of the United States shouldn’t pull the country too far in what ideological direction. The Fox & Friends host was discussing the lack of a Medicare for All provision in the Democratic platform.
Kilmeade and his Fox News’ colleagues are consistent cheerleaders for President Donald Trump and earlier on Tuesday’s program Kilmeade bashed Democrats who are about to question Attorney General William Barr and made an allusion to ‘Black-on-Black crime.’
However, he was certain that a moderate president was the best course for the country.
“It’s probably better for the country if someone’s to be elected president, and doesn’t bring the country way to the left, or way to the right,” he said.
“But it’s not good for the party,” Kilmeade said of the Democrats. “We already saw that party come apart at their convention when everyone’s allowed to get together and breathe on each other. Now we’re not allowed to. We have to wear masks and stay away.”
“So even on virtual event there is not going to be any backroom deals to get everybody together on the same page. There’re gonna be Zoom conferences where people can sit in their garages and talk about how Joe Biden at 77 years old is really somebody you can count on despite the manifesto he sounds off on.”
