Fox’s Brian Kilmeade: ‘This Country Will Be in Chaos in Three Days’ if We Follow Seattle’s Example
Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade echoed President Donald Trump’s sentiments on Thursday in a broadside against protesters in Seattle who have set up a police-free area in the Capitol as part of a peaceful protest aimed at defunding the police.
The Fox & Friends host warned of national catastrophe if the rest of the country allows such things to happen.
“This is a travesty. This is pathetic,” Kilmeade said. “This lawmaker who led their way in there is demanding the liberal mayor resign and for a police force to abandon a precinct because of threats. If every precinct was abandoned because of threats we wouldn’t have any cops in precincts.”
“If you can’t protected your own precinct or not allowed to my goodness. Oh, there’s a threat might burn down the city so we just leave. You show weakness, they walk all over you. If other cities emulate this, this country will be in chaos in three days.”
“Unbelievably unacceptable. As they try to take over and extort fellow businesses. We won’t burn you down if you pay us money. That’s the law of the land now? That’s the law without cops? Good luck with that.”
The particular protest Kilmeade mentioned has been peaceful and has been compared to the Occupy Wall Street movement.
