Trump Says He Loves Diamond and Silk After Fox News Axes Conservative Duo
President Donald Trump has reacted to the news that conservative duo Diamond and Silk have been dumped by Fox News. The President – who has long been a fan of Lynette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson – tweeted his apparent disappointment with the decision.
The sisters, who are now former Fox Nation personalities, tweeted about their critics in what was almost certainly a response to Fox News cutting ties.
“Haters keep saying they hate Diamond and Silk, but you can’t hate what you ain’t never loved!” they tweeted.
But I love Diamond & Silk, and so do millions of people! https://t.co/RBX9bmFIwH

“But I love Diamond & Silk, and so do millions of people!” Trump responded.
The Daily Beast reported on Monday that Fox News had parted ways with Hardaway and Richardson following a series of conspiratorial statements about the Covid-19 global pandemic. The conservative sisters spread disinformation about the virus and questioned whether the U.S. death toll was false.
“The sisters’ Fox guest spots have also dried up recently,” reported The Beast‘s Justin Baragona and Lachlan Cartwright.
“Diamond & Silk have used their heavy social-media presence to be at the forefront of right-wing misinformation about the COVID-19 outbreak.”
Trump is apparently unconcerned about the conspiracies they’ve spread but he’ll have to take it up with Fox News.
