Trump Spends the Morning Watching MSNBC and Tweeting Amid Global Pandemic
President Donald Trump was tweeting on Tuesday morning about MSNBC’s Morning Joe and an interview Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi gave to the show’s hosts. As the U.S. has become the most infected country in the world in the midst of a global pandemic, Trump took time to attack Pelosi and Joe Scarborough.
“I watched a portion of low rated (very) Morning Psycho (Joe) this Morning in order to see what Nancy Pelosi had to say, & what moves she was planning to further hurt our Country,” Trump said.
I watched a portion of low rated (very) Morning Psycho (Joe) this Morning in order to see what Nancy Pelosi had to say, & what moves she was planning to further hurt our Country. Actually, other than her usual complaining that I’m a terrible person, she wasn’t bad. Still praying!

Pelosi used her appearance on MSNBC to call on Trump to use the Defense Production Act to provide desperately needed medical supplies such as masks and ventilators. The President has been reluctant to invoke the act in the way many believe is necessary to tackle the crisis.

Trump has also previously said he no longer watches Morning Joe but hosts Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski have frequently pointed out that the President continues to watch and often address him directly in critical terms.
