Fox’s Brian Kilmeade Says China Should Apologize for Coronavirus Because ‘They Started It’

Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade suggested on Tuesday that China should apologize for the spread of Covid-19. The Fox News personality made the claim in an off hand manner but clearly thought that his comments were appropriate to the outbreak.

“The most encouraging things happening, actually, out of China, who started this whole thing,” Kilmeade said.

“They were battling a thousand cases a day. They had very few. They had 14 field hospitals close yesterday. 70% of the Chinese cases, everybody had recovered. Only 19 new infections. So, last week they started recording this. It was 2,000 new infections a day. Now down to 19. It shows you can get on top of this.”

“But, more importantly, President Xi is going to Wuhan,” co-host Steve Doocy said. Wuhan province was the first area of outbreak. “The whole thing is to show that their measures at containing have actually worked.”

“Even though they started it and have yet to apologize,” Kilmeade said.

His comments were not followed by his co-hosts.
