Hannity Rages Against ‘America’s Lying Media’ Over Reports That Russian State TV Loves Him

Fox News host Sean Hannity spent his Easter Sunday blasting out tweets at the Daily Beast and other media outlets over reports that Russian state-run media had aired excerpts of his broadcasts last week in which he attacked the Mueller report and “media hysteria” over its findings.

On Sunday, The Daily Beast — which this author contributes too — published a piece reporting that the Russian government-owned Rossiya 1 news channel had reacted to the recent release of the redacted Mueller report by highlighting the response by American conservatives. While Special Counsel Robert Mueller found that Russia was engaged in a campaign to interfere in the 2016 presidential election in order to get Donald Trump elected, he also said that there was no chargeable conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia (though Trump associates were open to collusion and utilized stolen information by Russia).

After Mediaite picked up the story from the Beast, Hannity took to Twitter to assail both outlets and the American media at large in a tweetstorm that essentially mirrored one of his show’s 20-plus minute monologues.

He finished his rage-fueled tweetstorm by promoting his upcoming Fox News broadcast, promising there will be a “full response” on Hannity while making sure Twitter users knew what time his show airs.

Meanwhile, as Hannity wants The Daily Beast and Mediaite – an outlet this author previously worked for — to include his “numerous comments” in which he spoke out against Russia and Vladimir Putin, maybe he’d also like to comment on the multiple times he pushed Julian Assange’s fake conspiracy that murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich was his source for the stolen DNC emails and not Russian hackers? Especially considering that the Mueller report revealed that Assange knowingly fueled that conspiracy as he was communicating with the Russians for the emails.
