Trump Says ‘Real Collusion’ Is Saturday Night Live Being Mean To Him, Demands ‘Retribution’
President Trump began his Sunday morning with yet another tweetstorm, tossing out a series of grievances while patting himself on the back for week-old Rasmussen poll numbers. He also took time to rail against Saturday Night Live, which devoted its cold opening to skewering the president’s national emergency declaration.
And he called for action to be taken against NBC for airing the segment.
Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real Collusion!

“Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution?” Trump tweeted. “Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into.”
He concluded by referencing the special counsel investigation of Russia election interference and potential coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian officials, writing “[t]his is the real Collusion!”
During last night’s broadcast, SNL lampooned the president’s Rose Garden national emergency announcement, featuring regular Trump impersonator Alec Baldwin. Besides mocking Trump’s declaration, the skit also took shots at the president’s recent physical exam results and Trump’s confrontation with CNN reporter Jim Acosta.
“I never watch SNL. I just happen to know about every skit, every line of dialogue because I’m a stable genius.”
Hey Donnie, perhaps you are unaware that:
1) The only Republican who is continually obsessed with how he or she is portrayed on SNL is YOU.
2) SNL has always been laden with political satire.
3) There is something called the First Amendment that would undermine your quest for “retribution”.
