‘Lord Knows How Much Money It Took’: Laura Ingraham Reacts To Migrant Families Being Reunited
With the Trump administration facing a Thursday deadline to reunite all of the migrant children that were separated from their families as a result of the president’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy, it was reported that all ‘eligible’ children would be reunited with their parents by the end of the day.
Well, the way Fox News host and immigration uber-hawk Laura Ingraham sees it, the real takeaway here is how much cash all of this cost.
Beginning her Thursday night program by railing against the mainstream media for framing the administration’s immigration policy that resulted in thousands of families being torn apart as “heartless,” Ingraham went on to note that 1,442 children had been delivered to their parents in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody.
“Which took HUNDREDS of staffers, apparently, to carry out,” she exclaimed, before adding “lord knows how much money it took.”
After complaining about the money and manpower it took to sorta meet a court-ordered deadline to reunited kids with their mothers and fathers, Ingraham was apoplectic over “the fact that this ever happened drove the left to cry ‘Trump’s a heartless guy.’”
Her response to that? It’s all Obama’s fault, of course.
