Fox’s Brian Kilmeade on Biden: ‘His Silence Is Compliance with the Anarchists’

Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade made an extraordinary claim on Friday that former Vice President Joe Biden is somehow supporting ‘anarchists’. The anarchy narrative has been pushed by President Donald Trump as he tries to stoke the fires of the Culture War – a strategy that doesn’t appear to be working.

The Fox & Friends hosts were discussing ‘violence’ across the country and in particular in Democratically-controlled cities and states. This ‘violence’ has been widely exaggerated by the right. They also discussed defunding the police, which Biden clearly opposes.

“So here’s the thing. His silence is compliance with the anarchists,” Kilmeade said. “For example, famously the Speaker was asked hey they are tearing down saints and Ulysses S. Grant and Lincoln in your city. I can’t be bothered with a statue I have a pandemic to handle.”

“Well by him saying there I’ms seeing the unrest in seven major cities in America and by saying well, I’m not for defunding the police, that is not enough,” he said.

“The anarchy should be alarming. He has an opportunity to show how he would lead, and instead he sits in his basement and knuckles under. And by the way, Larry Hogan, big critic of the President often, a Republican said that military equipment helped suppress the riots in Baltimore So go ahead and sideline it because you don’t have to stop it. ”

The Biden campaign says it opposes the use of surplus military equipment by police.

“The other big story that we’re talking about, the other big story that we are talking about is who is this Joe Biden guy? The Joe Biden from the 1990s tough on crime? The Joe Biden who is with President Obama or the Joe Biden it seems suddenly to get union workers scared and shocked and scared in Pennsylvania? The Joe Biden that suddenly is Mr. Green and worrying about people fracking in Ohio and Pennsylvania as well?”
