Joe Biden Attacks Trump’s ‘Toxic Tongue’, Directly Associates Him With White Supremacy

Former Vice President Joe Biden launched possibly his strongest attack yet on President Donald Trump. Biden, who is the Democratic presidential front runner, directly associated Trump with white supremacy – something others have stopped short of doing.

“We have a problem with this rising tide of white supremacy in America and we have a president who encourages and emboldens it,” Biden said during an Iowa speech.

“In both clear language and in code, this president has fanned the flames of white supremacy in this nation,” Biden said.

Biden once again spoke about how a normal president would show ‘moral leadership’ but contrasted that with Trump.

“Instead we have a president with a toxic tongue who has publicly and unapologetically embraced a political strategy of hate, racism, and division,” the former VP said.

“How far is it from Trump’s saying this is ‘an invasion’ to the shooter in El Paso declaring ‘this attack is a response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas?’ Not far at all.”

Biden’s strategy throughout his primary campaign has been to position himself as the candidate who’ll return the country to normal. He may be banking on Trump fatigue and the President’s actions in Ohio and Texas on Wednesday will only bolster his message.
