George Conway Calls Trump ‘Mentally Unwell,’ Demands He Resign and ‘Seek Psychological Treatment’

George Conway, the husband of Trump counselor Kellyanne Conway, went after the president on Sunday morning in a series of tweets questioning his mental health and calling for him to resign.

Conway has been a harsh critic of Trump for much of his time in office, which is either part of a plan to stay on the good side of the Republican establishment after the president leaves office or an incredibly passive-aggressive and long-running marital disagreement.

In his tweets on Sunday, Conway called the president “mentally unwell” and his behavior “bizarre, irrational, [and] self-defeating.” He also tweeted links to books by psychiatrists psychoanalyzing Trump and called on him to resign and seek psychological help:
