Dan Crenshaw’s District Is a Gerrymandered Joke and He Should Be Embarrassed to Represent It

This is Republican Representative Dan Crenshaw’s Congressional district. F*** this district.

Dan Crenshaw should not feel good representing such a gluttonously gerrymandered district in Houston, a giant metropolis that should give the US House the perspective of Democratic, liberal and urban representation.

This district is an offensive joke, and every time Dan Crenshaw says pretentious and arrogant things about the politics of the day, remember that his district is visible evidence of how Republicans, an increasingly minority party, have straight up stolen disproportionate majority power for almost a decade by corruptly taking advantage of census redistricting to effectively choose their own voters.

Among other Republican crimes against democracy, of course, such as stalling Obama’s federal judges indefinitely and then ramming through Trump’s picks, and obstructing justice for the con man president they elected without a popular victory, and ignoring his criminal campaign architects who have been charged and imprisoned even for their collusive infamy, and literally stealing a Supreme Court seat that America voted for both in 2012 and 2016.

So one more time, f*** this district.
