Seth Meyers was supposed to be discussing Hillary Clinton’s email scandal but he just couldn’t help mocking Donald Trump’s campaign difficulties. On Late Night with Seth Meyers last night, Meyers discussed the widely reported story that a 12-year-old boy is running a crucial campaign office in Colorado.
“That’s right, a 12-year old is running a Trump campaign field office. And, to be honest, he’s the only one on the Trump campaign who’s got his shit together,” Meyers said. “I bet he calls Trump every night with campaign advice. ‘Hey, bro! You gotta pivot!'”
Meyers explained how Trump’s attempt to pivot will be thwarted by his own supporters. He showed footage of Trump supporters shouting ‘Build that wall!’ while Trump looked ‘like Billy Joel when people request Piano Man’. Meyers mocked Trump’s chances of moving to the center.
He also wondered why Hillary Clinton had so many emails while she was at the State Department. “Is she one of those weirdos that have them unread on her phone?” Meyers asked. “Because Trump may be a demagogue but I cannot vote for a sociopath who doesn’t clean out their inbox. That is not okay!”
Meyers also proved that many of Clinton’s emails are not as boring as she claimed. In fact, some of them are bizarre. Issues included casually running into Middle Eastern princes and Bono’s wish to screen a concert on the International Space Station.
