Eight Isn’t Enough: Joe Scarborough Thinks Maybe We Need Another Benghazi Committee

Outside of Fox News and the rest of the right-wing noise machine, Tuesday’s release of the Republicans’ Benghazi Select Committee report was seen as a dud. After two years and $7 million, the 800-page report revealed nothing new, once again highlighting that there was no wrongdoing by Hillary Clinton when it came to the Benghazi attacks. Sure, GOP committee members yelled a bunch at their press conference, but lust like the SEVEN previous Congressional committees, they found no smoking gun to use against Clinton.

Despite the fact that none of the right’s wild conspiracy theories or fever dreams were validated, many of the loudest bloviators on cable got right to work letting their faux outrage shine. MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough had to wait until Wednesday morning, since Morning Joe ain’t in primetime, to jump on his soapbox to excoriate Hillary.

Fortunately for the beady-eyed ex-Congressman, he had the response from Clinton to use for his tirade, and he took aim at her for saying that the House has already wasted enough time and money on this witch hunt. See, according to Joe, this latest investigation makes him think maybe we should have another Benghazi committee because eight really isn’t enough.

“This is the oldest trick in the book for the Clinton, ‘Oh, we’ve had this many investigations and this money’s been spent, let’s move on.’ I think she’s got it completely wrong. This is the first time I’ve seen anything that makes me think, ‘wait a second, we actually need to talk about this more.’

Yep. Only now, nearly four years later and with $23 million spent on numerous investigations and hearings, has Scarborough felt that maybe, finally, we might potentially have a little insight. But, y’know, maybe we should spend some more time looking into this. Don’t think this mummified horse has been beaten enough yet.

What further answers does Joe want? Well, for starters, he wants to know why Barack Hussein Obummer hates brave American heroes so much. Has to be the PC culture, right?

“This is the first time I’ve said, ‘wait a second, what the hell was going on at the White House?’ ‘Why were they sitting there talking about uniforms, why were they sitting there talking about YouTube videos?’ We need to make sure this never happens again…Forget about Hillary Clinton, this is a condemnation of the entire administration bungling the situation from the beginning. They were sitting there inside the White House about, instead of protecting Americans, it seems from reading this report, that they were wringing their hands over PR and whether they would offend the Libyans or not.”

Well, there ya go. Obama’s politically correct pandering to MOOSLIMS and his non-stop Apology Tour ™ is to blame here, with an assist from Killary. Thanks for clearing that up, Joe. And extra thanks for pointing out the need for more investigations.
