Write For Contemptor

Contemptor is currently on the lookout for new writers, contributors, bloggers, tastemakers, columnists, pundits or whatever you want to call yourself.

Experience is a big plus. We are really looking for talented, motivated, acid-tongued, sharp-witted, snarky, knowledgeable writers who are looking for an outlet to unleash their inner misanthrope. Preferably, ideal candidates will have a portfolio of published online work and a presence on social media, along with a familiarity of WordPress or other online writing platforms

While the site’s primary focus since starting in June 2015 has been on politics and media criticism, we’re also searching for folks who can cover the subjects of pop culture, TV/film criticism, social issues, race in America, sports media and music.

As far as compensation, qualified candidates who are brought on as contributors will receive a majority share of the revenue their pieces generate. Revenue share is based purely on the number of times articles are read, not on ads being clicked. Details will be discussed in full to candidates selected.
