“I’m sorry,” Berman told him. “I know it’s not easy to be around so much stress, and you keep on doing it.”

Texas has been particularly hard hit by the Coronavirus with more cases expected as spikes have been reported in several states. The state government was initially reluctant to take public safety measures but recent events have forced them to change course.
Marquez gave credit to his producer and his photographer, who joined him in reporting on conditions in the hospital. U.S. deaths from Covid-19 are now approaching 130,000, while Dr. Anthony Fauci has warned that a rise in cases could still be in the future.
Marquez has covered the difficulties Texas hospitals are experiencing, as Berman pointed out. The reporter stressed that hospitals want the public to know how much they’re struggling in the midst of the global pandemic. He explained that hospitals are being forced to improvise.
“They are begging people to see what it looks like inside when you are really sick and stay home,” Marquez said.
