CNN Comms Dunks on Trump for Tweeting About Chris Cuomo During Protests and Pandemic
President Donald Trump is facing an unprecedented crisis that would be daunting for any president: more than 100,000 Americans have died in a pandemic that is still ongoing and the country is being roiled by the worst civil unrest since the LA Riots in 1992.
On Tuesday, Trump responded to the problems facing his administration by attacking CNN’s Chris Cuomo and his older brother, Andrew Cuomo, Governor of New York.
“Yesterday was a bad day for the Cuomo Brothers,” Trump tweeted. “New York was lost to the looters, thugs, Radical Left, and all others forms of Lowlife & Scum. The Governor refuses to accept my offer of a dominating National Guard. NYC was ripped to pieces. Likewise, Fredo’s ratings are down 50%!”

The official CNN Communications Twitter account responded to the President – not only to suggest he had better things to do, but also to correct his false assertion about Cuomo’s ratings.
“Surely you have more important issues than TV ratings to address. But since you’ve made it a priority, we’ll correct the record,” they said.
