Fox’s Pete Hegseth Says Trump Was ‘Celebrating Christmas’ at Rally Where He Said Deceased Congressman Is in Hell
Fox News’ Pete Hegseth responded to Wednesday night’s impeachment vote by making references to Christmas on Thursday morning. Hegseth was guest hosting Fox & Friends when he attacked Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and bizarrely claimed that President Donald Trump was celebrating Christmas at his rally in Michigan.
“That was the split screen last night if you were watching that vote,” Hegseth said. “You were watching what was basically the Grinch who stole Christmas, Nancy Pelosi, trying to her try shush her caucus over.”
“And then you had Donald Trump in Battle Creek, Michigan, celebrating Christmas,” Hegseth said. “Battle Creek, Michigan with the Merry Christmas rally with the people where he said doesn’t feel like I’m being impeached. A joyous, raucous occasion.”
Hegseth is referring to Trump’s rally on Thursday night here he made a series of bizarre statements and at one point suggested that the late Democratic Congressman John Dingell was ‘looking up’ from Hell at the impeachment proceedings.

Trump was roundly condemned for the comment and Dingell’s wife and successor in his seat, Debbie Dingell, said that he had made her process of healing harder.
