John Bolton, Represented By Same Agency as Anonymous Trump Official, Lands Book Deal
John Bolton, former national security advisor to President Trump, has agreed to a book deal, The Associated Press reported Sunday.
Bolton, who left the White House in September over foreign policy disagreements with the president, was represented by the Javelin literary agency, whose clients include former FBI Director James Comey and the anonymous senior Trump administration official who authored the soon-to-be-released book, “A Warning.”
The deal is reportedly worth around $2 million. Neither the title of Bolton’s book nor its publication date are known.
Bolton was “part of many relevant meetings and conversations” concerning President Trump’s withholding of aid to Ukraine, according to a letter from his attorney. Bolton has not testified as part of the House impeachment inquiry, and is not expected to unless a judge compels him to do so.
